Sultana Raisins Dark Brown

Sultana Raisins Dark Brown are dried Seedless grapes of the Vitis vinifera species. Customers also know this raisin as Dark Brown Raisin or Seedless Dark Thompson. As it is clear from its name the color of this raisin is dark brown. Farmers start processing the dark brown raisin with double washing it. Then we dry it under the sun and coat them with vegetable oil so it doesn’t lose its moisture too quickly. Also, so the berries don’t stick to each other. Besides, the oil gives berries a moderate shine. The next step is to remove the stems and clean them. The final step is laser sorting them.

Because of the high sugar level of raisins, they taste quite sweet.

The Standard Level of SO2 (Sulfur dioxide) for Dark Brown Raisins is Zero. In Other words, Sultana Raisin Dark Brown has no SO2 added.

This raisin berry size is generally between 300 to 380 pieces per 100 gr. So, compared to Sultana Raisin Light Brown they are a bit smaller.
