Their Moisture level of Shahabi Date is approximately 15% and that`s why Shahabi Dates are categorized as Semi-Dried Date. Their rate of moisture affects their perceivable levels. They are mainly from the Southern provinces of Iran such as Bushehr and Fars Province.

Customers demand Shahabi Date (Dried) because of its competitive price which is less than most of the other types of Dates. The color of these dates ranges from Light brown to dark brown. Also, they are long oval shape dates similar to Piarom Date but they have a pointy head, unlike Piarom. Another difference would be that Shahabi is much Softer than Piarom. As a result, its softness makes it perfect for direct consumption. The Sugar level of Shahabi is not that high to be harmful to those with high blood sugar, as a result, people with a high level of blood sugar or diabetic patients can use Shahabi Date instead of sugar.

Loading: Shahabi Dates can be loaded and shipped in 20 ft. and 40 ft. dry and refrigerator containers, most importantly, our recommendation for far distances and warm areas, is to use refrigerator containers, so the cargo will remain safe and sound during transportation.

Shelf life: One year after the production date.

Keeping condition: Users can keep these dates at room temperature which has good air ventilation and it is free of dust. However, In our professional opinion, it is better to keep them in the Refrigerator which is cool (below 5 Centigrade) and dry with proper air ventilation.
